What have we here... Us having just dragged our sorry asses in from the desert. We went to Joshua Tree in Southern California for a week of rock climbing in the hot sun. What we got was a mixture of constant dry wind the first day or two, and unseasonably cold nights, then (also unseasonable) thundershowers which sent us running for Las Vegas (where we'd rented our car because it was cheap.) This is a photo-booth there. My skin suffered, as you might be able to tell from this photo. I will not go to the desert again without warm long underwear for nighties and learning to properly apply skin cream and sunscreen.
