It has been brought to my attention that you have posted one of my pictures on your site in violation of my copyright. This is formal notification that you are requested to take this picture down at once and cease and desisit from any further use of my work on the internet.

Derien, your site is not that bad -- I've been at war with worse, I promise you. But the people who give me permission to publish my work DO NOT want it appearing on the internet. What happens is that a relatively benign use such as yours results in the image being copied into newsgroups which are often full of pornography of the worst sort. The naturist community in which I work is aware of this and is close to banning photography for all time becasue it is so difficult to control what happens to pictures in spite of the best intentions of their makers. I have already lost several families because of this issue.

So, if you like my work, you will understand my insistance that it not appear on your site. I would appreciate a reply indicating your compliance.
